What is Assistive Technology?
Assistive Technology is any tool that helps someone participate in daily activities with greater ease and independence. Assistive Technology Services help children, their families, and service providers select and use the appropriate tools based on the child's individual needs. Some tools are simple and others are more complex, but all are chosen with the goal of enhancing play, communication and learning.
