For many young children with disabilities, adequate postural control can be a challenge that prevents them from participating in many of the activities of daily living. Specialized equipment can provide the support young kids need to participate. These can range from standers  and chairs to wheeled mobility systems  like wheel chairs and strollers. Our lending library has a wide assortment available for loan. We do require that a physical or occupational therapist  secure any positioning/mobility equipment for loan so that we're sure  there is a safe and appropriatel match to the needs of the child and family.
