Our loan library  has many software programs available for trial. Ranging from simple cause and effect programs for young children through teens to authoring programs such as Intelltools Classroom Suite  and BoardMaker, plus loads of fun programs that encourage learning. Many of our programs are available for computers using Windows or Macintosh operating systems. In addition to the loan program, the C-ECL is a demonstration site for SoftTouch software, Kursweil text to speech software, and Clicker 5. We are proud to have their terrific software available for you to evaluate.

Classroom Suite by IntelliTools

IntelliTools Classroom Suite is a software platform for delivering K-8 curriculum aligned to content standards. Anyone can download ready made activities for free.  You can even use them if you don't have Classroom Suite as they offer a free Classroom reader that allows you to play the activities but doesn't let you change them in any way.  This is a great way to get your "feet wet" with a new program before you commit to buying it.

My Own Bookshelf by SoftTouch

Few things are as fun as reading your favorite book. This exciting program allows young readers to choose to read, or have the program read their favorite book to them. This is a book-authoring program that is as easy as 1-2-3! This Steps to Learning Program  walks you through making books, putting books on bookshelves and selecting books for students to read.
